Oh Summer, Summer

A couple of things that I find intriguing as well as annoying

Whirlwind romance or the real thing.

It is summer and love is in the air or is it summer loving?  I don’t know what it is about summer but I tend to see more couples than I do in winter hence my opening sentence. Is summer romance the real deal or is it just a fling, people not wanting to be on their own or just showing off?

Going away

Holidays as a singleton, why are the prices so high. I mean paying an extra £100-£200 what is that all about? I feel I am been punished for being single, so it is ok for couples to pay less than me. I do take breaks here in the UK on my own but I will like to go abroad too, just not on my own but with a Holiday company. The Christain holiday companies I used to travel with have put up their prices up so much that it is just ridiculous!!  I will rather So another year goes by without me taking a holiday, I am not impressed. I can’t go away with any of my friends because their idea of a holiday is different from mine, they are into the beach stuff, I can’t swim so that rules me out. I prefer to go sight seeing, visiting musuems, old buildings/ruins then eating al freshco afterwards, by the end of the day I am generally tired from the walking so I just chill after dinner, perphaps play a board game, read or just chat about the day, etc.
